Long Lake Aquatic Invasive Plant Survey by Adirondack Research, LLC:
To be conducted July 17th on targeted areas on Long Lake and Jennings Pond, based on the 2022 survey.
Long Live Long Lake Fundraiser with Celebrity Guest Bartender, Eddie "Rock" at the ADK Hotel:
Thursday, July 27th, 5 to 7PM - All tips to benefit the Long Lake Association. LLA T-Shirts available for purchase.
NEW Lake Protectors' Training Sponsored by APIPP: Tuesday, August 8th at the CVW Long Lake Library from 1-4 PM.
Long Lake Association Annual Get-Together and Annual Meeting: Friday, August 11th at ADK Hotel from 4-5:30 PM. Guest speaker, Caitlin Stewart from Hamilton County Soil and Water. Light hors d'oeuvres.
NEW Adirondack Canoe Classic 90-Miler, sponsored by the Northern Forest Canoe Trail: Saturday, September 9, 2023. The LLA will provide volunteers with boats to provide safety along the Long Lake route. (Contact Barbara Taylor at bftaylor653@gmail to volunteer)
NEW Shaw Pond Initial Lake Survey for Aquatic Invasive Species by Hamilton County Soil and Water: Date to be determined

6th Annual Crew Races between St. Lawrence University and Union College, AKA Great ADK Boat Race:
Sunday, May 14th at 11 AM at the Long Lake Town Beach
Join the Men's & Women's Rowing Teams from St. Lawrence University vs Union College in the final race of the season as they compete for the Adirondack Cup. Alums, visitors and members of the public are welcome to come out and cheer for their favorite team. Race time subject to change due to weather conditions.

- Postings on bulletin boards at the NYSDEC Boat Launch and the CVW Long Lake Library.
- Fishing Line Recycling in collaboration with the ADK Center for Loon Conservation. Recycling containers located at the NYSDEC Boat Launch and other popular fishing sites.
